Senior Front-end Developer (Katowice)

For our Client, strong and highly developing an IT company which is a part of an international IT corporation, we are currently looking for:

Senior Front-end Developer

Location: Katowice

Responsibilities:

• develop reusable UI components that addresses customers' requirements and business needs
  
• collaborate with product owners, developers and test engineers at release and sprint levels
  
• code and debug user interfaces using suitable technologies
  
• actively participate in requirements reviews, and architecture/design meetings
  
• present and conduct reviews of user interface designs with product owners and stakeholders
  
• take over leadership and mentorship for other UI developers who are part of the team
  

Required Skills:

• degree in Computer Science (MSc or at least BSc) or a comparable education
  
• at least 3 years of relevant experience in web based user interface development
  
• expertise in web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript including thorough knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues
  
• experience with integrating the front-end with server side technologies (PHP)
  
• excellent knowledge of code decoupling in the form of JavaScript MVC frameworks and template languages
  
• familiarity with a modern JavaScript tools like, RequireJS, Bower, Grunt, Node.js or similar technologies
  
• experience with TDD
  
• knowledge about continuous deployment (e.g Chef)
  

Desirable:

• deep YUI3 knowledge including YUI Testing Framework
  
• experience with Symfony2 and Twig, and functional testing (BDD, Behat,…)
